The Illinois ENA Spring Symposium Committee is seeking speaker applications for the 49th Annual Spring Symposium. The Spring Symposium is the largest emergency nursing conference in the Midwest and includes the Advanced Clinical Program, designed for advanced practice nurses and experienced nurses, and the General Sessions, including the Keynote Address and Closing Address.
The 49th Annual Illinois Emergency Nurses Assocation Spring Symposium will be held at the Memorial Learning Center attached to Springfield Memorial Hospital in Springfield, IL
We are considering all topics related to emergency nursing at the registered nurse and advanced practice nurse levels. Topics should generally fall into one of the following categories.
The deadline to submit proposals is December 1st, 2022. Session speakers will be invited to attend the Spring Symposium complimentary the same day of their presentation and will receive a stipend.
Candidate speakers are not required to have extensive teaching or presentation experience but it is highly recommended that speakers are comfortable speaking to small-to-medium sized groups (15-50 people). Experience teaching hands-on courses, such as ENPC/TNCC or BLS/ACLS/PALS, may be beneficial but is not required.
