Call for Student Poster Abstracts

Deadline March 16, 2018

Present your best evidence-based practice, quality and research reviews/projects addressing the many challenges today’s emergency RNs, APRNs, managers, leaders, and researchers are facing!

The poster sessions are focused on topics that are of interest and importance to emergency nurses and APRNs. Abstracts must reflect evidence-based reviews/projects that are near completion or in the final stages of completion with results/outcomes available for inclusion in the poster. The author is expected to adhere to the guidelines/schedules concerning dates/times of poster display and be able to answer questions and/or discuss the poster content with conference attendees.

Poster abstracts must be a maximum of 500 words and include the following:

  • Cover page (includes abstract title, author name, email, school name, and employer if applicable)
  • Title
  • Identification of problem/overview
  • Evidence-based question/purpose
  • Evidence summary
  • Significance of findings/outcomes
  • Implications for emergency RNs/APRNs and future research

Free admission to the Spring Symposium on Friday, April 20, 2018, will be given to the winning poster!

Please do not identify yourself or the institution within the body of the abstract, only the cover page is to contain this information. Must be a project completed within an emergency department setting.

Submit your poster abstract via email to Ivelisse Sanchez, EBP Committee Chair, at Information regarding acceptance and winning poster will be sent to the presenting author by March 28, 2018.
