Meetings

The Illinois State Council ENA holds quarterly meetings to conduct organizational business and provide an hour of continuing nursing education (CNE). All state council members, emergency nurses practicing in Illinois and student nurses interested in pursuing emergency nursing are welcome to attend. Meetings are hosted by hospitals throughout the State of Illinois.

A typical state council meeting agenda begins with a networking session, followed by the formal business meeting. An hour-long educational session is presented covering relevant ED nursing topics.  The business meeting concludes with officer, committee, and special interest group reports.

Attending a quarterly state council meeting is an excellent way to network with ED colleagues around the state and become acquainted with issues emergency nurses face on a daily basis. It is also an excellent way to volunteer your time and talents while becoming actively involved in the state council.

All Illinois ENA members and emergency nurses are welcome to attend. We look forward to seeing you at the next state council meeting.
